When you click on the SOUND BITES link you should see a file download begin, albeit briefly and then WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER will open and play the file. If you are clicking on the SOUND BITES link but not seeing a file download and nothing seems to happen then you probably need to change your FILE TYPES option in WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER to open .WAV files. To do this open WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER and click on the TOOLS tab. Then click on OPTIONS tab and select the FILE TYPES tab. Then check the WINDOWS AUDIO FILE box (or click the Select All button). Click OK and close the MEDIA PLAYER. Then try the SOUND BITES button on the web site and it should work. Ensure your speakers are turned on and volume up.  See the image of WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER below.
