I recently (January 2007) wrote to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth asking her to visit this web site and endorse it by letter in the hope that this would show support for both those who died in this war and those who live on. Disappointingly her secretary wrote back stating the Queen does not endorse such projects. It seems that Her Majesty has decided that the Korean War must remain forgotten after all. It makes one wonder was it really worth it if the Queen in whose name those men fought and died shows no interest.

Tracing UK citizens.

Did you know that one of the easiest ways to trace a UK resident citizen is to purchase some software called PEOPLE FINDER. Anyone still alive in the last few years or their relatives will be on here as long as they are on the voters register. The software is cheap and lists millions of people. Go to the LINKS section to be directed to the web site.

Original sound recordings of interviews from KW Veterans now added to this web site are under the SOUND BITES page.

Read the ‘Strange but True’, in the Press section.

Read about one veterans account of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and how it affected him.
